The Proposal Writer role is responsible for researching and responding to technical and business Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and related information requests to ensure the highest quality.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the feasibility of requests by assessing company strengths and weaknesses.
• Research and respond to technical and business Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and related information requests to ensure the highest quality. Responses include completing compliance matrices, prose answers, and forms.
• Take 100% ownership for completing every deliverable associated with every request, while providing direction and working interdependently with everyone who can contribute to a winning solution, including Proposal team members, Account Reps, Development, Product Managers, Business Development Managers, Marketing, Operations, IT, Customer Support, and Business Partners.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Proposals team skills, practices, and environment to enable us to meet growing demand for our deliverables and services.
• Communicate business and technology requirements that you encounter to responsible parties.
• Maintain boilerplate responses in the Proposals knowledge base to ensure currency and facilitate re-usability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, English, Journalism, or a related field.
• Excellent writing, grammar and content organization to be combined with compelling presentation of information.
• Interest in industry, business, technical, and cultural requirements of engineering software users.
• Industry knowledge in MES, facilities, oil, energy, government, or utilities a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Visio and/or SharePoint.
• Proposal writing, response, or grant writing experience preferred.
• Database management concepts or experience a plus.

A large financial institution is currently seeking a Senior Writer to work with their Creative Design Marketing Team. We are looking for a strong, self-directed creative writer with at least 5 years writing experience. Must have strong writing skills on a variety of media, including print, digital and PPT. Financial experience preferred. Ability to translate technical concepts into plain English is a must. Ability to work with statistically heavy messages. Proficiency working with statistical data and repositories, including Excel. Must be able to produce 3-4 writing samples. This is a 6 month engagement and is available for immediate hire.

Responsibilities of the Senior Writer:

• Revises and repurposes existing content. Updates materials to reflect current tone, statistics and time frames. Ensures content adheres to corporate brand standards, style guides, and legal and compliance guidelines. • Develops original content. Collaborates with content stakeholders to understand and follow strategic direction, key objectives, and themes for content. Salary Range:

$60-$65 per hour
