This is not a one-time project, but rather an ongoing relationship. Our goal is to build a productive and lasting relationship with our content writer.

*We usually give out projects consisting of 30-40 pages. There are other consistent weekly blogs and articles we will need as well.

Are you tired of making clients money while you get a token payment and never build an audience for yourself? Have you self-published and made little or nothing in return so you went back to ghostwriting?

I have been there and it is not fun & never ends! I have a dozen fiction outlines that I need a rough draft written for to go with my short opening chapter for each. Not being rich, I cannot pay $$$ for this service.

Instead, I'm looking for co-authors that will write rough drafts of my detailed outlines. In return,  they get a $30-$100 per month for 3 months. I will take the rough draft and polish it, send it to proofreaders I pay, make changes and corrections based on proofreaders' feedback, pay a professional copywriter, then pay a talented graphic designer to design print and digital book covers complete with blurb and spines.

Your name will be on the finished draft of the book, you get a copy of the book with your name as one of the two authors in trade paperback size, you can purchase additional copies of the book at wholesale to resell or giveaway if you wish. Your author page on Amazon and Good Reads can connect with the book to help you gain more readers for any other books you publish.  

You will NOT own the rights to the book, characters or story outlines. You will be credited as co-author, get graduated payments we agree on paid via milestones on Upwork NOT a % that might end up being 0, you do not pay a dime. You get paid and begin building a following for your writing.

What you write will be edited and rewritten as needed based on proofreaders' feedback and my discretion, the outlines and characters will be given to you to write. I do not publish flash or short stories and call them books. 30 k minimum words will be needed and some story out lines will require more. For 30 k words, you receive $30.00 at completion, in 30 days, $50.00 and at 60 days after completion, final payment of $50.00. You will also receive 1 free trade paperback of the book you co-authored and the ability to purchase more from me at wholesale prices to giveaway or sell yourself.

A co-publishing contract must be signed and notarized before we begin. This is a legitimate offer and if we work well together after a couple books, we can discuss co-ownership if we both want to go that route or continue co-authoring.

I pay all fees and will also be paying for advertising for the books so you will benefit from each penny I spend publishing and promoting a book that has you listed as one of the two authors of the book!

Now you may want to publish your own stories and ideas that are not based on my characters and outlines. That is understandable and you are always free to do so at your expense. When you do, already having books out there with your name on them as a co-author being promoted will help people find your other books that you publish yourself. And as I said, if we work well together, we can always discuss co-ownership/collaboration after two or three of my outlines are written and published under this co-author contract.

Notary is free at most banks if you have an account there or you may go to any UPS store, etc and pay $5.00 to $10.00 for the notary service. This shows it was you that signed the contract to protect myself and the book we shall co-author. This also protects you and guarantees you payments as discussed here and expressed in detail in the co-author contract.

Questions, ideas, or if you are ready to begin send samples of your best writing and please answer my questions as well as possible. Not everyone will be a good fit for this and if you are not selected as a co-author now, please reapply again in the future.

No samples and no answers will get ignored.
