If you are passionate about writing, comfortable with interviewing people, and interested in topics like public speaking and entrepreneurship, then this role is for you.

Here's the situation…

I'm a life coach for entrepreneurs and an entrepreneur myself. I work with people from all around the world to help them deliver the best possible talk.  

I am putting together a book on public speaking, and need a person who will:
1) Interview/hear me talk for 30 minutes on a specific topic, and then
2) Write a high-quality 800-word article based on the interview in my voice and style (ghostwriting)

You don’t have to be an expert on public speaking — you can research on the job and ask me questions during the interview.

The idea is to create a book afterwards, so there will be a series of these interviews and articles. We will either bulk these sessions to have the articles ready as soon as possible, or we will do them on a weekly basis.

It’s around 500 words (I need 800 words per article), but is well-structured and easy to read/parse.   

Here are a few more tasks you'll be working on…

– Interviewing me for 30 minutes about a specific topic we’ve decided beforehand  
– Writing one or more high-quality articles each week based on the one-on-one interviews in my voice and style (ghostwriting)
– Researching and adding some supporting links or credible sources
– Proofreading and editing the articles
– Figuring out what other related topics we should write about next
– Searching online forums, news sites and other startup blogs for topics of interest

Please note: since you’ll be writing and editing articles, you must have excellent English writing skills and is a NATIVE SPEAKER (as I am not).  

To be a success in this role, you…

– Have excellent English writing skills   
– Must be a native English speaker
– Pride yourself in providing excellent communication
– Write great, high-quality articles (or blog posts) that explain complicated things in simple terms  
– Think great writing means using shorter, more informal words
– Have conducted interviews or are great at asking questions  
– Are just really good at explaining things
– Familiar with public speaking and entrepreneurship (again, you don’t have to be a total expert since you can research on the job and ask me questions)
– Love getting the job done quickly with an attention to detail
– Are self-disciplined with good work ethic
– Are reliable, self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
– Available to do the interviews on Skype for 30 minutes to 1 hour, between 9am to 5pm Paris time

What I’m offering…

– Rate on a per-article written basis  
– Long-term project (the first few articles will be a test if the quality and writing style is what I’m looking for)
