Contract Position with Rapidly-Growing Medical Device Company
ROM3 is a three-year-old medical technology company that has created and patented a revolutionary orthopedic rehabilitation device (see our product video at (link removed)). We have been well-funded, having raised $3.1 million to date (on our way to an initial $5 million raise), and are currently planning for a public offering within the next nine months.
We introduced our initial product to the market in 2016. This year, we are planning to launch a new, groundbreaking and portable version of the product. We are currently in the design phase and have a core team of professionals working to make it a success. Now we are in need of an Investor Relations professional with heavy PR experience.
This person will have specific experience in financial and healthcare categories with a preference for experience with medical devices. Specifically, we are looking for someone with experience in promoting startups, experience with communicating stock updates, wall street journal, etc. As we are going public, we need someone with specific experience in this field.
Responsibilities:
Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in different type of media
Coordinate all public relations activities
Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
Manage media inquiries and interview requests
Create content for press releases, byline articles, etc
Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis
Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.
Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness
Qualified candidates, please respond with an up-to-date resume and a cover letter detailing your past successes and accomplishments, and why you are the ideal fit for this job.
Compensation is competitive and negotiable, based on experience, accomplishments, and proven success.
Finally, openness, honesty, and candidness are qualities we respond to–as opposed to framing things in the right way with the right words. Please be who you are and let the dice roll.
Thank you for your interest.
