ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SUPPORT/CHECK WRITER
United Surgical Partners International (USPI) is seeking an Accounts Payable Support/Check Writer for our corporate office in Addison, TX. USPI is a privately held company that specializes in the development and operation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities in the U.S. We provide first-class surgical services for local communities and recognize our employees as our number one asset.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow all USPI company policies regarding submitted payment requests.
- Verify payment requests received are valid and correspond to the payment batches in Oracle. Which include:
- Verifying Batch Name
- Batch Amount
- Number of Checks/ACH
- Handle the return of requested checks to the facility via a Federal Express online portal
- Notify Accounts Payable Director of any discrepancies of payment batches within Oracle and the automated payment email.
- Assist facilities with questions that arise regarding their payment runs and return shipments
- Assist Accounts Payable Processors when needed
- Coordinate bulk mailings with Pitney Bowes
- Will operate the Pitney Bowes folding/stuffing machine and postage meter and be the liaison between USPI and the vendor when there are issues with the equipment.
- Work as part of a team with our AP Processors and two other Accounts Payable Check Writers.
- Process all payment requests in a timely manner so that checks and electronic payments go out as scheduled.
- Various other tasks assigned by the Accounts Payable Director.
- Work with newly acquired facilities assisting in the coordination and collection of vendor set up information.
- Auditing Concur expense reports.
- Excellent Communication (both written and verbal) and organizational skills are a must.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- High school graduate.
- Three years previous accounts payable experience preferable in a hospital or clinical environment.
- Experience using Oracle Financials or other ERP related system.
- Must have the skills necessary to operate the office equipment required to fulfill job duties.
- Ability to write routine reports.

- Three to four years previous collections experience required, with emphasis on healthcare insurance collections of all types.

Proposal Writer
ASSYST is seeking a Proposal Writer with experience in all phases of the proposal process, specifically in the IT professional services, Federal Government sector. Experience writing proposals in the Cleared Sector is highly desirable.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze the technical requirements of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Sources Sought Notices (SSNs), and other client solicitations for software engineering or IT services (federal sector) related type of bids.

The quality writing tech will support quality systems and the global supply chain quality operations area. Duties/expectations are as follows:
• Prepare and finalize basic and complex process documents as assigned with minimal supervision but as part of a quality team with a senior quality engineer
