I am writing a series of topics to prepare people interested in walking the Camino and similar long walks – Upwork
I have prepared the second edition of a book "Backpacks, Boots & Blisters" which is all about preparing to walk one or more of the ancient pilgrim trails (Caminos) in Europe.
The first edition focused on the training, having the right equipment, a packing list and a whole range of helpful information to avoid blisters, tendonitis etc.
The second edition contains some new information on walking as a "system" as well as additional sections on preventing blisters and new clothes and equipment.
it is approx 21,500 words, has 60 photos/ images and I have written using the first edition as a template for the edits etc. Written on a MacBook using Word for Mac version 14.7.2
Needs some editing to check where my phrasing can be improved as well as formatting to have pages looking OK, chapters starting on a new page and the Table of contents to reflect the new material. Needs to be in an e-book format. I have the cover already designed based on the first edition. Once the e-book is completed then will need a print version without all the live links to my web site currently under construction. see
