I have a fully written and filmed script, which I would like to add a subplot to.
You must give your basic idea/concept in your proposal in order for me to consider you.
Summary of the script: set during the Civil War, it is about 2 sisters in an Orthodox Jewish family that do not get along. Their father and brother leave town, and get taken hostage. They girls alone are in charge of the home while mother goes out to find them. The bickering does not stop, until they receive false news that the father is dead. They finally bond over this tragedy, but eventually use their creative forces together to rescue them and bring the family back together.
I would like to add pieces in between set during contemporary times, that will bring meaning and clarification to the story. (Either one of the sister's daughter retelling the story years later, or someone recovering the story in pieces through archives, etc.) But I would like this to tell another story that ties together nicely with what happened back then, and adds a twist ending. (Cheesy example: an old woman tells this story to her young neighbour, and they discover they are related, and are descendants of those sisters, but something less obvious).
