Job Description:
- This position will work closely with individuals within the Tarrytown Scale Up Facility (SUF) group as well as Tech Transfer and Documentation at the Walpole manufacturing site.
- Specific responsibility is as a technical writer
- generating/editing/stewardship of documentation required for new formulation work instructions, updates to existing SUF work instructions, Batch record Review and management.
- The ideal candidate has exceptional verbal and written communication skills:
- They must be capable of communicating technical information provided by subject matter experts in a logical and concise manner.
- Works directly with R&D and manufacturing teams to gather information, create content, and obtain approvals using interpersonal and customer-service skills
- Actively participates in team meetings at the project and department levels to ensure the timely and successful completion of every deliverable.
- Supports pre-manufacturing product development. Knowledge/Skills, Education, and
Experience The ideal candidate:
- Has technical writing.
- Is an excellent communicator and teammate who will proactively communicate questions and needs to subject matter experts and escalate issues to management for prompt resolution.
- Has expertise in Microsoft Office including Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Visio.
Specific requirements will include:
- Review and update of existing procedures, work instructions and processes
- Drafting work instructions, technical studies, verification reports.
- Stewardship of detailed manufacturing procedures
- Expertise in Microsoft applications, Word, Excel, PPT.

TECHNICAL WRITER II (E30-18-0662-F)
Bowhead seeks a Technical Writer II to research, write, edit and proofread technical data for use in documents or sections of documents such as manuals, procedures and specifications. Ensure technical documentation is accurate, complete, meets editorial and government specifications and adheres to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format and style. Assist in establishing style guidelines and standards for texts and illustrations.
Essential functions will include:
• Work with teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of scientific and technical information, documentation content, and requirements.
• Work with internal teams to obtain documentation requirements.
• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
• With minimal guidance, develops diagrams, charts, graphs that increases the user’s understanding.
• Standardizes content across document and briefing libraries.
• Develops high-quality documentation with minimal guidance that is easy-to-understand, easy to use, meets applicable standards, and meets the objectives and goals for the intended audience.

Responsibilities:
- Under the guidance project team members, the Technical Writer duties include management and creation of required business and system documents in adherence to appropriate standards during business or technical writing processes and projects
